PEET'S REWARDS PROGRAM

The following terms govern participation in and use of the rewards and customer loyalty program managed by Peet's Coffee ("Peet's Rewards" or "Rewards Program"), which is offered by Kuwait Food Co. (Americana) LLC and its affiliates ("Company"). These terms are applicable to individuals who choose to enroll in Peet's Rewards ("Member" or "Members") through the Peet's Coffee mobile application ("Mobile App") available in the United Arab Emirates ("UAE").

These terms supersede all previous communications regarding Peet's Rewards. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is mandatory for participation.

Members can earn credits ("Reward Points") for purchases made at Peet's Coffee outlets ("Outlets") in UAE. These Reward Points may only be redeemed through the Mobile App for certain complimentary products ("Rewards") listed in the Mobile App.

a. Peet's Rewards Enrolment

  1. Enrolment is free and no purchase is required to become a Member.
  2. Customers may enroll in the Rewards Program by opting in through the Mobile App, providing the required personal information, and accepting these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Rewards Program is available only at selected Outlets ("Rewards Eligible Locations") within UAE.
  4. Enrolment requires phone number verification and mobile app login with a local UAE number.
  5. Members are eligible to receive a one-time welcome bonus of 1,000 points, valid for a period of 7 days.
  6. When a Member enrolls, it's profile syncs across all Peet's Coffee countries, but the welcome bonus applies only in the country of initial registration.
  7. The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or revoke your membership at its sole discretion. Blocked Members cannot re-enroll.
  8. Members who deactivate or delete their Peet's Rewards profile may rejoin, however, in case of re-joining, any such Member will not be eligible for any additional welcome joining bonus and/or Reward Points accumulated prior to the deactivation or deletion of its profile.
  9. Opt out - Members may opt out of the program by contacting customer support (UAE: +971 600 522252).
  10. Reward Points accumulated in one country are redeemable exclusively through that country's Rewards catalogue.
  11. Joining bonuses and Reward Points earned in a specific country are eligible for redemption only through that country's Rewards catalogue. Reward Points accumulated in one country cannot be used to redeem rewards from another country.

b. App Account Deletion

  1. Members acknowledge that uninstalling our Mobile App or deleting their account does not fully erase loyalty transaction history. The loyalty system will archive transactional details even after account deletion.
  2. Upon deletion of a Member's account, its Peet's Reward Points balance would become zero and the account would remain suspended till the Member re-joins the Peet's Rewards program i.e., no earning/ redemption can be done while an account is inactive.

c. Restrictions

  1. In case of any illegal activity by a Member, the Company reserves the right to remove a Member from Peet's Rewards at its sole discretion and without providing a reason or intimation.
  2. In the sole opinion of the Company, if a Member is believed to have abused the privileges or failed to comply with the term of Peet's Rewards and privacy policy, the Company has the right to permanently deactivate such Member's profile from Peet's Rewards and Mobile App. The Company reserves the right to reset the points balance for any such Member to zero based on its discretion.

d. Earning

  1. Members earn Peet's Reward Points by ordering at Rewards Eligible Locations.
  2. Points can be earned for orders placed only at Rewards eligible locations as per below rules ("Rewards earning rules") subject to earning limitations as mentioned in sub-section below:

UAE: Members can earn 'x' points for every 10 AED spent by them on an order

For Example, in the Silver Tier

Order Total = AED 130

Discount = AED 13

Then, potential points earned = 40*(130-13)/10 =468 Rewards Points rounded to 440 Points. (Lowest multiple of 40 will be applied)

  1. Earned points have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash.
  2. Members can check their Rewards balance only through Mobile App published within the Territory. The actual points earned will be automatically calculated and credited to a member's account within 48 hours of order.
  3. If any Member's account gets blocked/ deactivated / deleted before order confirmation, no Rewards points will be credited to such Member.

e. Membership Tiers

Peet's Rewards includes a three-tier membership structure: Silver, Gold, and Platinum, based on cumulative points earned within a defined 180-day window.

Silver Tier

  • Default entry-level tier.
  • Members earn 40 Points per AED 10 spent.
  • Redemption value: 40 points = AED 1.
  • Perks include general reward redemptions.

Gold Tier

  • Earn 60 Points per AED 10 spent.
  • Tier Entry: Earned points 3,000 – 5,999 points in the last 180 days.
  • Continuity: Maintain Earned points 3,000 – 5,999 points in 180 days to stay in Gold.
  • Downgrade: Falls back to Silver if under 3,000 points.
  • Redemption value: 40 points = AED 1.
  • Perks: Birthday Treat.

Platinum Tier

  • Earn 80 Points per AED 10 spent.
  • Tier Entry: Earned points ≥ 6,000 points in the last 180 days.
  • Continuity: Maintain Earned points ≥ 6,000 points in 180 days to stay in Platinum.
  • Downgrade: Falls back to Gold if below 6,000 points.
  • Redemption value: 40 points = AED 1.
  • Perks: Birthday Treat, early access to offers, exclusive promos, surprise gifts, free beverage with sign-up, and more.

Tier Validity

Each tier is valid for 180 days from the date of entry, subject to requalification based on points earned during that period.

f. Points Expiry

  1. Reward Points will be valid for a limited tenure and shall expire on completion of 365 days from the date of credit to a Member's account.

g. Redemption

  1. Members will be entitled to use their Reward Points balance earned in a particular country to redeem rewards from that country's Rewards catalogue only.
  2. Rewards Points, once used for redemption cannot be reversed.
  3. Points must be redeemed in whole value units. For example, 500 points = AED 12.5, which will round down to AED 12 cashback.
  4. A Peet's Reward can be redeemed more than once within the same day, provided the Member has balance points for redemption.

h. Bonus Points

Members may be eligible for bonus points through periodic promotional offers. These points are awarded over and above standard spend-based earnings and typically carry a shorter validity period. Bonus points are not considered toward tier upgrades or continuity. The categories of bonus points include the following:

  • Sign-up Bonus: 1,000 points upon profile completion (valid for 7 days)
  • Birthday Bonus: 1,000 points (valid for 1 day from issuance)
  • Referral Bonus: 200 points for each successful referral (valid for 30 days)
  • Refund Points: Credited on a case-by-case basis (valid for 365 days)
  • Single/Double/Triple Point Bonus:
    • Single Point: 1× points multiplier
    • Double Point: 2× points multiplier
    • Triple Point: 3× points multiplier
    • (All valid for 365 days unless otherwise specified)

i. Loyalty Rules

  1. Earning Points: Based on membership tier (Silver, Gold, Platinum).
  2. Points Validity: All points remain valid for 365 days from the date of credit.
  3. Bonus Points: Subject to separate validity based on the offer type.
  4. Redemption Threshold: Minimum redemption value is 40 points, equivalent to AED 1.
  5. Points must be redeemed in whole value units. For example, 500 points = AED 12.5, which will round down to AED 12 cashback.

j. Pickup Order Lifecycle

  • Member to switch the Order Mode to Pickup if he/she chooses to pick it from the store
  • Members may choose any store listed in the App.
  • Minimum pickup prep time: 20 minutes only after the payment is completed.
  • Once placed, orders cannot be canceled.

k. Curbside Pickup Order Lifecycle

  • Member to switch the Order Mode to Curbside Pickup if he/she chooses to pick it from the outlet.
  • Members can select from any curbside-enabled outlet.
  • Minimum pickup prep time: 20 minutes only after the payment is completed.
  • Customers must enter their car color and license plate number when placing the order to help the Peet's team identify the vehicle and ensure timely curbside delivery.
  • Once placed, orders cannot be canceled.

l. Rights of the Company

  1. The Company reserves the right to temporarily suspend, withdraw Peet's Rewards program and/or alter its terms and conditions at its discretion from time to time without any consent from or prior notice to the Members. The revised terms and conditions can be referred to on your Mobile App.

m. Governing Laws and Jurisdiction

  1. The Peet's Reward program shall be governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, and the Dubai courts will have the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain all disputes and customer concerns related to this program.

n. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage arising out of or related to your participation in the Peet's Rewards Program, use of the App, or inability to access your account or rewards.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Company's total liability for any claim by a Member under the Reward Program shall not exceed an amount equal to the monetary value of the last 1,000 Peet's Reward Points earned prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

o. Privacy and Data Use

  1. Your use of the App and participation in Peet's Rewards Program are governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how your personal information is collected, used, and shared.
  2. By enrolling in the Rewards Program or accessing our Mobile App, you acknowledge that your information may be processed for purposes including account management, rewards administration, marketing and promotional communications, and service enhancements, as permitted by applicable law.
